Our first stop the next morning was at the Trevi Fountain. When we navigated our way there, I could not move without bumping into somebody...there were so many tourists!
Before we even made it to the fountain, we got a quick bite to eat. Apparently Italians eat pizza for breakfast?
After visiting the Trevi, we explored around the smaller streets surrounding the fountain. This one store in particular had the best truffle spread.
Our next stop was the Colosseum which was even more beautiful than the pictures make it out to be. By the time we got to there, it was cold and rainy so I was happy to have worn my warmest outfit on the trip today.
I loved all the outfits I wore on my trip, but this outfit in particular was one of my favorites. It was super edgy, yet girly because of my tiered ruffled skirt.
I wore a high-neck white t-shirt under my classic navy silk dress with a tiered lavender skirt. And because I needed that touch of edginess to balance out the girly outfit, I wore my pearl leather boots with my leather jacket.
We entered the Roman Forum where we got the best view of the Colosseum.
We also visited the top of the Altare della Patria where we had the most amazing overview of the ancient city.
