Spring is one of my favorite times of the year. Everyone starts spending more time outside, wearing more colors, and getting out of their winter depression. During my spring break I stayed with my sister in the city and enjoyed the warmer weather.
I've never been one to be afraid of color, a trait I think I got from my mom. I love incorporating fun color combinations into my outfits because wearing all black can sometimes get boring. The color palette of this purple and orange outfit brightened my mood and each element of the outfit perfectly suited each other.
The second outfit I wore over break was also a colorful one. I paired my bright red tiered dress with a purple fur vest (I guess I was into wearing purple this weekend). At first I wasn't sure if I liked the way the purple looked against the red, but after putting on my accessories, the whole look came together.
Sometimes when you're playing around with different color combinations, it might look weird at first. After finding the right jewelry or the perfect shoes to match, you'll start to see that the colors begin to compliment one another better than you expected.
