Healthy Habits

I have always been into healthy eating, but I have been especially dedicated the past two years. Being active and eating healthier makes me feel so much better and I feel more productive everyday.

My family has been super into avocados lately. It is a great source of fat and ties you over for a long time!

My daily routine in the morning is a 2-3 mile run, and before and after I do ab and leg exercises. During the school year, as soon as I came home from school, I went for a run before starting my homework. Working out after school was the perfect break for me in between school and homework because it allowed me to clear my mind before sitting down for hours trying to calculate an equation or finishing up my research paper.


But it's important to remember that healthy habits don't stop at exercising! Eating healthy is also important to incorporate into your new lifestyle. I have cut bread, desserts, and other fattening foods out of my diet (with the exception of somewhat indulging during family vacations). I might not be able to eat avocado toast anymore, but I have found other healthy foods to eat that are just as delicious! Nowadays there are so many healthy recipes to try just at the click of a button.

I am obsessed with making Aimee Song's raw bars. They are the best snack for when you're on the go.
