It has been awhile since I made a pair of jeans, so I decided to take an old pair of AG denim and turn it into something new. I love customizing my clothes because they are original pieces of work that no one else will have!
I was originally going to put these neon laces on a pair of sneakers. But then I found this white ring trimming which complemented the neon laces perfectly.
I unfolded the seam at the bottom to create a frayed look and removed the back left pocket to put onto the front. When I am customizing denim, I never have a plan. I think of a design as I am making it - experimenting with patches in different sections before finalizing the design.
Then I added some extra distressed patches of darker denim. Finally, I hand-sewed white denim letters onto my jeans to give it the finishing customized touch.
These jeans have to be my favorite pair I customized so far! I paired it with a silk blouse and metallic sneakers to complement the silver hardware on the jeans. I accessorized with a silver clutch, a chain belt, a pearl necklace, and hoop earrings. This look was inspired by streetwear with a classy flare.
